Digital systems for fence companies

Draw the fence. The quote builds itself.

Next Estimate builds the digital side of fence businesses, and it starts with the quoting cockpit. Pull up the property, trace the line, drop in your gates, and the job is priced off your own rates before the homeowner hangs up. Then text them a clean quote page with their own yard on it.

What it does

The whole quote, on one screen.

No exports, no spreadsheet on the passenger seat. You measure, price, and send from the same place, and every screenshot below is the actual tool.

Measure

Trace it on the actual property.

Type the address and the yard is on your screen. Trace the fence line on the satellite photo and every leg gets measured as you click.

Trees covering the back line? Flip to the parcel view and follow the real property boundary. Brand new build with no aerial yet? Drop in the survey PDF, scale it, and trace that instead.

  • Footage labels on every leg while you draw
  • Parcel boundaries when the satellite can't see
  • Survey upload for new construction

Gates

Gates that know how they swing.

Tap a run and add a gate. Pick single or double, set the width, choose the hinge side and whether it opens in or out. The swing arc gets drawn right into the sketch, so the crew sees exactly what got sold.

Need it three feet off the corner? Slide it along the run to the foot.

  • Visual swing picker, no dropdown guessing
  • Gate widths and prices from your own list
  • The glyph is baked into the drawing you send

Price

Price it three ways without redrawing.

Load your fence types once, with your real numbers. The cockpit counts panels and posts off the drawing and keeps a running total while you work.

Then build the offer: a Good, a Better, and a Best from the same drawing. Add line items, hide the internal ones from the homeowner, set commission, override the price when the job calls for it. Your true costs and margin stay on your side of the sheet.

  • Per-foot rates, height multipliers, minimums, tear-out
  • Line items the homeowner sees, and ones they never do
  • An internal numbers panel that is internal only
The packages panel in the cockpit: a Good package with materials mapped to the drawn runs, a haul-away line item priced at $100, an internal contingency hidden from the homeowner, and fields for price override and commission

Send

Text it before you leave the driveway.

One tap sends the quote. The homeowner opens a page with their own yard on it, your options side by side, a real price with a financing line under it, and what happens next.

It carries your company name, your colors, and your phone number. Nobody sees ours.

  • Their yard, their footage, their gates
  • Options compared on one screen
  • Call, book, or financing, one tap each
The homeowner's quote page on a phone: an aerial photo of their property with a 214 foot cedar privacy fence measured, what's included in the selected package, and the address and gate details
How it works

Three steps. No training day.

01

Type the address

The property comes up on satellite. Works from the office, the truck, or the kitchen table with the homeowner watching.

02

Trace and drop gates

Click the corners, the footage follows. Add gates with width and swing. Your rates price the whole thing as you go.

03

Send the quote

Text or email the homeowner their quote page. They compare options and book while the other guys are still promising a callback.

More than a tool

We build the digital side of fence businesses.

Software companies sell you a login. We build the systems a fence company actually runs on, and the quoting cockpit is the front door. It's free, because once your numbers live in it, the rest starts making obvious sense.

Free

The quoting cockpit

Everything on this page. Draw, price, and send your own quotes, on as many jobs as you want. This is the tool, not a demo of the tool.

Homeowners quote themselves

The same estimator goes on your website, facing homeowners. They trace their own yard, see a ballpark from your rates, and land on your phone as a lead that already knows the price.

By conversation

Built around your shop

Some companies want the whole digital side handled: custom flows, financing, funnels, the works. We build those systems by hand, for a handful of shops at a time.

Curious what the paid side looks like? The pricing page has it. No surprises over there.

"I'm not a marketer who stumbled into fence. I personally sold over $5M in fence before starting this. I built Next Estimate because I know what actually closes jobs."

FAQ

Questions fence pros ask.

Is the cockpit actually free?
Yes. Sign up, load your rates, quote real jobs. No card, no trial clock, no quote limit. We make our money when companies decide they want the homeowner-facing side too, and plenty never do.
What's the catch?
The catch is that we think you'll like it. Once your pricing lives in the cockpit, putting the same estimator in front of homeowners on your website is one conversation, and that part is paid. Nobody will chase you into it.
Do I need a website?
Not for the cockpit. It's your internal tool, it lives at its own link, and it works on your phone, tablet, or desktop. A website only matters later, if you want homeowners quoting themselves from it.
How long does it take to set up?
About two minutes to sign up and land in the tool, and there's a guided first quote waiting when you get there. Loading your fence types and real rates is the only homework, and most guys do it the same evening.
What makes this different from other estimator tools?
It was built by someone who sold fence for a living, and it shows in the details: property-line view for tree-covered lots, survey PDF upload for new builds, gates with real swing directions, and packages with an internal-only cost side. Most tools do satellite and stop.
Can my guys in the field use it?
Yes. It runs in the browser on any phone or tablet. A rep can measure and send a quote from the driveway, and the drawing shows the crew exactly where the fence and gates go.
